Built on Field Experience. Committed to Quality.

GRAE was founded in 2012 to bring honest, qualified, independent inspection and consulting to industrial and energy projects across Canada.

Ryan Mikkelsen

Ryan Mikkelsen is a Red Seal Master Electrician whose career has been shaped entirely by hands-on field experience. Beginning as an apprentice electrician in 2003, he earned his Journeyman certification in 2007 and his Master Certificate in 2013, building his expertise one role at a time over more than two decades in the industry. Having worked across positions spanning field electrician, foreperson, Quality Assurance representative, commissioning technician, and project manager, he brings a practical, ground-level command of electrical systems and project demands that no amount of classroom training can replicate.

GRAE was founded on the belief that clients deserve a qualified, independent inspector who communicates clearly, reports on time, and treats every project with the same level of care, regardless of scale.

Based in Airdrie, Alberta, Ryan serves clients locally and travels to sites across North America as project requirements demand.

Execution-Driven Distribution

GRAE Power Products is the electrical equipment distribution division of GRAE Electric Inspection & Consulting Ltd. We don't just move product. We source, supply, and support electrical equipment with a practical understanding of how it is installed, tested, and commissioned in real project environments.

Traditional distributors focus on transactions. We focus on execution. We act as a project-focused distributor, supporting procurement, coordination, and delivery - not just order fulfillment.

GRAE Power Products was built on the understanding that most equipment issues don't originate in design. They emerge from specification misalignment, integration complications, and commissioning gaps. Our background in inspection and field execution means we identify and resolve those issues before they affect your project cost and schedule.
